Fire Dance — Labanotation Score, 2003

Originally choreographed in 1896 by Loie Fuller, this Labanotation score is based off the reconstruction of Fuller’s “Fire Dance” by Jessica Lindberg. The score is for one dancer with a running time of approximately 5 minutes. This elementary to intermediate level score includes elements of the motif systems, Language of Dance® and Laban Movement Analysis/Effort Shape. The score is complete with costume, stage and the lighting design of Megan Slayter.
